From Samurai to Ninja: My journey from inspiration to rebranding. Discover the essence of personal art in commercial work. I was inspired by a personal art of sketching in such a great place
a local simple sushi bar with cute logo character and warm colors located in Alexandria, Egypt.
Design Challenge
Maintaining the original character’s spirit and colors scheme vibes while developing a new fresh visual identity.
Design Solutions
The old samurai logo merged with my personal art sketch vibes & gestures evolves into a dynamic ninja mascot illustration, reflecting the fresh energy of the new character expressing the new visual identity in logo design and illustration for packaging, merch, and graffiti art for advertising.
I made the logo more abstract and more practical for animation with new Arabic calligraphy in Japanese style.
Beliefs
I've always held a firm belief in the power of pure personal art within the commercial creative realm. For me, it's not just about creating for the market; it's about infusing authenticity into every project.
